The DDI courses were chosen because they are proven to build specific, job-critical competencies and promote positive behavior changes that lead to better job performance. The courses focus on developing the skills individuals and businesses request the most including: tactical and strategic leadership skills; personal effectiveness; group effectiveness; customer service skills and support; and getting business results. The training is done in manageable four hour (half day) segment using interactive participation in small groups at a reasonable price.
The courses will be offered beginning in the spring at the following Northeast Regional MnSCU campuses:
Lake Superior College (Duluth), Hibbing Community College (Hibbing), Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College (Cloquet), Itasca Community College (Grand Rapids), Mesabi Range Technical College (Virginia), Vermilion Community College (Ely) and Rainy River Community College (International Falls). The training is based on the program developed by the Minnesota Bureau of Mediation. The purpose of the program is to prepare participants to serve as co-chairs of labor management committees.
